Yay Pete's!!
This is a Ferndale gem - a Broadway themed bistro sort of restaurant which reminds me of a restaurant I visited in Hells Kitchen once. The set up is cute and comfortable.
The service across the board is the best I've experienced in a five-mile radius: friendly, knowledgeable, with all of the intangibles. It was like going to a perfectly executed Broadway show.
The food is bistro/diner fare. I enjoyed the mushroom panini and the omelet I had, which came with a croissant, potatoes, and some sweet apples.
After searching for "my place" in my city, I think I've finally found it. I'll be returning soon.
